CFL lightbulbs are one of the most energy effiecent, money saving things that everyday Americans can use.

If you install these right now you will make the money back in energy savings by the end of the year. By the end of next year you can save up to $50. Thats $50 extra dollars to spend at the club, or the Rockies game, or taking your girlfriend out.

The average life of a CFL (compact-fluorescent-lamp) bulb is about 7-10 years!

some people are scared of them because they contain mercury and can present a hazard if more than one breaks (say a dropped box or something). I find it’s people with kids who are most concerned about it.
