All I can really say is WOW

Monarch XC Varsity Girls and Guys

Our teams this year did the best we have done in the history of Monarch.

• The girls took 9th!
• The guys took 5th!

This was a great first experience at State for me. I came in 6th place on our team, but ended up being the tie-breaking runner for 5th overall as a team. But I sure am glad that I no longer have to run six days a week.

Now it is officially the ski season! I need to start doing some plyometrics that will help with my telemark position rather than running 5k!

The boys team also took 2nd at regionals two weeks ago.
